Completion requirement

Students must successfully complete a minimum of 30 units to a maximum of 36 units from Courses Constituting the Field of Italian Studies while fulfilling the Program Requirements.

Earn at least 30 credits from the following:

Courses Constituting the Field of Italian Studies

Courses with an Italian Focus

Enroll in the following Course Lists:

All courses labelled Italian (ITAL)
Romance Studies 299, 341, 399, 499
Language 300, 301, 400, 451

*With approval of the School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures.

Contextual Courses

Enroll in the following Course Lists:

Art History 327, 357
Religious Studies 383
Greek and Roman Studies 209, 315, 327, 345

Complete 30 to 36 units from Courses Constituting the Field of Italian Studies with the following regulations:

a. A maximum of 6 units from courses labelled Romance Studies (ROST),

b. A maximum of 6 units from the Contextual Courses in Courses Constituting the Field of Italian Studies, and

c. At least 18 units must be at the senior level.
