Completion requirement

In addition to Faculty of Graduate Studies requirements, the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape and the Haskayne School of Business require :

Students admitted to the MPlan/MBA will focus on courses for the MBA during the first year and on MPlan courses in years two and three. Typically, the Real Estate Studies specialization will be completed in year four. Course requirements include:

a) MBA courses (54 units):

MGST615 - Strategic Business Analysis

*Students will need to take a minimum of one of MGST 615, MGST 616 or ENTI 623.

four elective courses (12 units total) in the Real Estate Studies specialization.

b) MPlan courses (57 units of core required courses):

Completion requirement

Advanced Credit

The applicant must make Advanced Credit requests as part of the admission process to the MBA program. Credit will not be given for course work taken as part of another completed degree/diploma or for courses taken to bring the grade point average to a required level for admission.

Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade)

Students admitted to a combined MBA program will not be allowed to request the Flexible Grade Option (CG Grade) for any MBA course that is applicable to their degree; or apply any course awarded a grade of CG towards their MBA graduation requirements.

Students may not choose the CG grade for a course taken extra to load.

The use of the CG grade will not affect students' eligibility for internal awards.

Financial assistance may be available to qualified students. For information on awards, please see the Awards and Financial Assistance section of this Calendar.

All admitted full-time MBA students will be automatically considered for Business scholarships.
